YZ developed a special high silicon cast iron electrode which can replace the sled anodes used for protecting the sub-sea steel structures.

The anode is made of plate shape and connected with conductive column fixed in the middle of plate. The invention adopts a plate-shaped structure which increase the discharge surface and change the current path to improve the uniformity of discharge and eliminate "Necking effect" that overcomes the problem that the rod anode is easy to break. It can reach the long working life specified in the design.
